Philippines your shinning bright the time is right
your history defines your guiding light;
pristine waters no longer insight, now the fight.
Those seven thousand islands in the sea
still keeping the promises for all to see;
Let not neglect reflect what others select.
Philippines inlet waters running by the mile,
I see the faces of the people wearing a smile;
looking over and around the building trash plies
You have endured heart-ships from the past,
with such strength that’s sure to last;
the time is ticking as it past the die is cast.
Can a stranger know, why your heart and soul forever glows
if we fail to go will’ll paid much more;
the winds of change behind a locked door.
The blood spilled by your invaders hands
you never softened your defiant stand;
it was never in their plan, your fight had no end
Your people rejecting that sin, destiny demanded the win
Oh Philippines your lush green valleys and tropical nights;
your flowers sing in the morning light, tomorrow is out of sight.
What a strange wants to know, will your heart and soul forever glow
the pride in the people grows, still theirs a need for more;
We must restore the hope in the dream, understand what I mean?
