The Cost Of Sin When Innocence Win

The sting in a whisper! I burn from the bitter envy within my exhausted heart,
exuberance! I’m enraged by your innocence, I’m dismayed by my impatience.
Cast a stone upon the waters and see the blue brilliant ripples riding the wave,
the power of your essence steals my resolve, its stubborn reluctance never fades.

I cry in awe! for the passion you’ll render, remorseful I’m not you must surrender,
but you lash out at my defenseless soul, batter from the beating now left in the cold.
Furious from the frustration you heave upon me, excited but disgusted must it be,
still silky smooth skin, flowing hair in the wind, deliciously sticky sweet to the end.

I'm a father, friend, and a family man, I believe in right and wrong, I understand the value of standing on your own. I have an iron will with a poet's heart, a belief in God is where it starts.
