Adversity Repealed! Iron Will

“Lean into the winds that will deny your dreams, batten down the hatches and double stitch the seams, let no wall stand after your charge, the suspect is adversity and it’s still at large, we yield not to weary when it gets hard”

Fear not the tyrant within the trials of life
concede not to the ill will warped by strife.
Damn the hardships spreading wickedness
even before dread strikes! defiance spikes!

Move like thunder streaking overhead sieging
adversity by the throat mutiny! in a mighty revolt.
Screaming cries of the vanished! to the last vestiges
be incredulous! extinguished with extreme prejudice.

When storm clouds gather, trouble’s frothy waters whipped
into a lather, slapped beaten! violent waves, rip tides grave.
Stab through the waters take it over the top! like a great White
Shark! lay waste to all in your way, that’s how the predators play.

I'm a father, friend, and a family man, I believe in right and wrong, I understand the value of standing on your own. I have an iron will with a poet's heart, a belief in God is where it starts.
