Memory! I’ve been told it’s chemical in theory,
I’ve wondered why mine don’t work when I’m weary.
How much do you get, is that meaningless speculation,
I often forget, that must be bad D.N.A integration.
I thought your memory was the guardian at the gate
mine must be that lazy worker who’s often shows up late.
This is serious memory can be mysterious then exacting
why does mine takes so long to complete it’s extracting.
Memory! is the unending layers of life’s mental paint
each layer fades with time while waiting on the update.
My doctor’s was bold when I was told of his action plan
but in the end I never win, my union worker on break again.
