The Tear that I Cry!

A broken heart! is that not the why in the tear that I cry

I’m lost for words but still I try, this sorrow! when we die

No! see not in my eyes the festering lies buzzing like flies

Repenting souls who are bold truth! carries a heavy load

Hate! be the molten tar that leaves the deepest scar by far

Now burning in hell you will fry, lacking the tear that I cry

The harm of would be friends, the damage of trying to fit in

Rejecting those un like you, the waste when you get through

Can you not judge the hate that’s in the smile of that snake

The twisting of your fate, lost in the darkest left in their wake

Soon they will drag you under and you’ll lose god’s wonder

The waste of your wicked soul the devil will come to plunder

There are no rules as to why, love always seems so quick to die

This humble soul didn’t mean to pry, still hear the tear that I cry

I'm a father, friend, and a family man, I believe in right and wrong, I understand the value of standing on your own. I have an iron will with a poet's heart, a belief in God is where it starts.
