The Will Of A Broken Heart

Those who wonder and don’t know why
I often don’t understand don’t even try.
The warmth in your smile in pain’s piles
that caution in your eyes before hope dies.

The will to muster that unconvincing buster
oh passions toll before your hand must fold.
Then take heed of that power before you lie
know the will in a broken heart will never cry.

I'm a father, friend, and a family man, I believe in right and wrong, I understand the value of standing on your own. I have an iron will with a poet's heart, a belief in God is where it starts.
