I struggled with this post but not with the poem the subject
had an emotional sting! a swarm of angry bees are really mean.
This poem was my reaction to a disgusting picture I download from
a post of a fellow WordPress’er. I thanked her I didn’t say why but it
was for her having the courage to link the picture in these times
when being offended out runs reason.
I make no statements associated with anyone but to myself
I too will re-post this picture, not for shock value or any other
standard manipulation apart of our present-day environment.
It is simply an essential piece of information on the subject at
hand for you to make your own determination. I will link to her
post in this post for you, may you gain the insight that I received,
I do not set standards on what should offend I simply offer a choice
will we hear your voice but if this does offend one of my many sins.
I bring you ( In Pain I Sly Inside I Cry ) picture purposely at the end
it’s up to you my friend.
In pain I sly inside I cry
This mornings light shining skylines above shame
concealing darkness human conviction restrained
abandon child casting shadows of docility’s deceit
defensive discretion making this lunacy complete
In pain I sly inside I cry
Sanction murder for political gain it’s impending stains
cook the books for capital gains in the capitalist game
This social media crazes were lying cheating is unfazed
where do you stand! old people eating cat food in a can
In pain I sly inside I cry
The screams and shouts! bouts of doubt depravity in rout
anything to win betrays an old friend, condemn to the end
Patriotism hiding sins racism trickling in, it’s how it begins
feeding the hate who’s to die! deny their lie don’t even try
In pain I sly inside I cry
As dark cold winds set in to chill humanities greatness sin
political agenda open a door slogan or two pushed it more
Yes! sooner or later were back to the Supreme Courts floor
out of sight out of mind no witnesses to mans greatest crime
In pain I sly inside I cry!
*Let hope not die*
