The Predator The Prey

In the streaks of light before the snap of the wind, the sting of the rain on naked skin,
gathering clouds calling my name, adrift in my mind I’m going insane. The whispering
chatter is nowhere in sight, when shadows and dreams mix in the night. My childhood
that evil decided to void, now broken when shattered because a monster got bored
Confined to the tides for I have lost my way, now chased by his ghost for I was the prey
shaken, shivers from the slightest touch, never to marry it would have meant so much
My well of tears dried over time, a whole life was stolen by such a vicious crime, a
soul forsaken the crime of mine, screaming! begging! while I stabbed him 100 times.
