Points of no return, unsecured values of the past stand firm,
this new social landscape where burning pride hides lies.
We no longer talk or debate, we scream & holler in frustration,
just before accusations, truth be damn! That’s not in the plan.
What’s right is no longer factored in, whatever it takes to win!
some would say the beginning of the end, undervaluing a friend.
Casting doubts our deterioration begins to mount, before hyper
inflation alienation! frantic hyper ventilation, family disintegration.
Devastation who knows what tomorrow brings, what will it mean?
You need not lose for me to win, we need not do each other in.
Life is not a sum total gain, liberty isn’t won without pain, each cast
a line into the bounty of the sea, let all taste the fruits of being free.
