The Human Toll When Hate Unfolds

These bitter hearts! love speak not from a sinister will
oh tender droplets clinging to the soft peddles of the daffodils.

This pain brews within the confines of our fallow soul
while migrating swallows sing to the whistling wind as it blows

Mastery! of this misery those reckless state of minds
hear the buzzing bubble bees readying the grapevines for wine

Smell the spilled blood of hatred castrating mankind
grace! of the hummingbirds collecting nectar in nature’s rhyme

The stench of death! from indignation of pigmentation
these lingering calls for separation, that collective strangulation.

I'm a father, friend, and a family man, I believe in right and wrong, I understand the value of standing on your own. I have an iron will with a poet's heart, a belief in God is where it starts.
