My strength comes from the heart and my mind
the body will succumb to the ravages that are the sands of time.
We are one, just below the fears lay our tears still
we will deny! such is the hold of an internal lie.
No! Ask not of me of what’s Within you that l see
how can this be haven’t you decided what that should be.
For now, I move through this world alone not because I don’t have a family or home,
the questions of life how do I fit in, out there the answers begin.
My strength transcends still I’m weary from my past sins
for whom can concede the actions that would make a soul breed from such deeds.
Yes! I walk along my search is not done I must go on
I check in at home such things roll along like a comforting song, I’m not alone.
