The Disciplined Principle

Tomorrow’s Change
Is Paid For By Today’s Strains
Which Buys All Your Gains

One day I’m going to be this and that
Everybody will look then step back
I will live life on my terms
Let the envious burn and yearn

At what point did you submit?
those who would relent to the harsh reality of life.
making molehills into the mountains you’ll climb twice
such foolish thinking carries such a high price.
Your long-winded lyrics all the familiar groans
so tough you huff and puff.
Now your high-pitched howls of fluff
must we hear that guff, those pathetic squawks it’s ruff?
Spoils are not for the meek
those who just tell of the tails, talk is cheap!
For the dues! are far too much for the weak!
you’re still looking it’s the free ride you seek.
In this world, the truth can be stranger than fiction
want to hear my prediction on this useless condition.
Can it really be understated in its transmission
failure needs this evasive human confliction.
Active addictive your unrelenting accommodations
of whatever is needed to fulfill explosive expectations.
Yet it’s what’s done each and every day
it’s the little things I must say, they always path the way.
With an open-minded obedience
resourcefully resolute are just apart of life’s ingredients.
Hear not the call at a glance to hold your stance
descend into a trance then lead a ruthless productive advance.
The watchful welcoming of willingness,
stunningly successful requires unyielding diligence.
Do not tolerate those with testy toxic thoughts
their need of sympathy filled with fraught, it’s overbought.
Winning isn’t for the wishful, worthiness is never resentful
abundance is ever delightful, gratitude is always insightful.
Articulate what is helpful then regulate what is neglectful
winning couldn’t be more simple with a disciplined principle.

The Sandyman your poet with a plan when the shit hit the fan
In Dumaguete Phillippines chasing my tropical dreams.

I'm a father, friend, and a family man, I believe in right and wrong, I understand the value of standing on your own. I have an iron will with a poet's heart, a belief in God is where it starts.
